In the Valley of Communities there are names of 5000 lost Jewish communities which are inscribed on the walls. The Avenue of the righteous with several thousand trees bearing the names of those who worked to save the Jews from the Nazis. You shall also witness the moving Hall of Names.
Thereafter, filled with this emotional experience, you’ll head for a panoramic view from the Mt. Of Olives, where the city is all spread in front of you. Then you shall drive to the Jewish Quarter for a walking tour in the Cardo, the Tomb of David and the Western Wall or by its other name the Wailing Wall – you will enjoy free time in the area giving you a chance to hide a note with your wish in the Wall. We shall all stop for lunch in one of the many restaurants spread all around, giving you time to relax and absorb all before it is time to drive through the modern part of the city. Reviewing some of Israel’s most notable landmarks, such as the Knesset (Israel’s Parliament), the State Supreme High Court, the Hebrew University and the Israel Museum were you will stop for a visit of the Shrine of the Book housing the Dead Sea Scrolls and you will view the model of Jerusalem during the 2nd temple era.
