Situated on the northern point of Haifa Bay, is the amazing UNESCO World Heritage Site of Acre (Akko). This wonderful half-day tour allows you to fully discover this fascinating city whose history dates back almost 4,000 years and which once played a pivotal role during the Crusades. Continue to the dramatic Rosh Hanikra cliff, the most northerly point in Israel, being famous for it’s caves and Grottos formed by erosion resulting from eaves crushing against the rock. You will enjoy a cable car ride from the top of the cliff down the Grottos below. Depart Rosh Hanikra stopping for lunch at a local hotel, you will stop at the picturesque Pisan Port which was built by Crusader seamen from Pisa, Italy.
You will have time to relax and eat lunch on the way to Haifa.
A relaxing trip back includes a photo stop at Mt. Carmel where you will have a breathtaking view of Haifa Bay, the golden dome of Haifa’s Baha’i Shrine and Acre in the distance.
You will than continue towards the Druz Villages passing nearby the Haifa University, and the Carmel Park – one of Israel’s largest parks
